Planting a new church or launching a ministry takes incredible faith. The early season is full of vision and hope, but it can also be financially lean, and back-office paperwork can quickly drain a pastor’s energy away from shepherd work.
Having pastored for ten years before stepping into financial setup for Colorado ministries, I know firsthand how heavy that administrative load feels. Because we believe deeply in the local church, we select one new Colorado church plant or Christian ministry each year to receive our Complete Launch & Financial Setup Package at zero cost.
What the Launch Package Includes
- Legal & State Tax Setup: Step-by-step guidance through Colorado Secretary of State filings, state sales tax exemption (DR 0715), and federal 501(c)(3) paperwork.
- Custom QuickBooks Online Buildout: Setting up your general ledger, fund accounting structure, and giving platform integrations so donor gifts are tracked with total transparency.
- Volunteer & Treasurer Training: 1-on-1 coaching for your volunteer bookkeeper or treasurer so your team feels confident running the system long-term. *Please note: This is a focused handover of your specific ministry workflows, not an exhaustive bookkeeping course or general QuickBooks software training.
- First 90 Days Support: Quarterly check-ins and reconciliation reviews during your launch phase to keep everything on track.
A Quick Note on Accounting Tech: Our expertise as a company is QuickBooks Online, so for setup help related to the Chart of Accounts and Accounting software, the recipient ministry must currently use or plan to use QuickBooks Online for their accounting.
